Aaron Jones suspended two games after drug-related traffic stop

Published

on

Packers running back Aaron Jones will miss the first two weeks of the season after being suspended for an arrest last October in which he admitted to driving while under the influence of marijuana.

Jones, then a rookie, also didn’t have a valid license. While he deserves to be punished for his arrest, the league has to square its policies for drug use with the kind of other, more serious crimes for which players are suspended.

Plus, what does this mean for the Packers offense in two critical NFC North matchups?
